Pokemon Battle Discs.
These little cardboard disks came with the old Hasbro packaged Tomy figures. I believe there is one for each of the 251 Pokemon that first appeared in the first and second sets of games Red/Blue and Gold/Silver, or at least most of them.

I don't have them all, and if anyone has pictures of the ones I don't have, I'd love to see them. I'm not looking to buy at the moment though.

Hi! I noticed some first generation Pokémon missing in your list. I have an example of Arcanine here: http://i.imgur.com/1rN6lJE.jpg
For others I have 'proof' that they have a disc.
The ones I don't know if they have a disc are: Nidoqueen, Nidoran (male), Nidorino, Golbat, Gastly, Haunter, Voltorb, Electrode, Jynx, Magmar, Ditto and Omanyte. If you happen to have pictures of those I would love to see!

And I have a request, you can totally feel free to deny me though!! =P
As you may know, I also collect Tomy figures (only the first generation) but I've come to the conclusion that some of my figures are bootleg. And I'm questioning some others. I was wondering if you would be willing to take a look at some pictures that I took and compare them to your official figures? :)

Hi, sorry it took me a while to see this, it's an old post. I can take a look at some of your figures. Just tell me where I can find the pictures. I may take a day or two to get back to you though. Also, thanks for the info on the discs.

I hope some info was new and it wasn't all old to you =P
http://imgur.com/a/XYn3u Here are some pictures I uploaded. Blackberry_kiwi was kind enough to take a look for me. We think Nidoran (male), Nidoqueen, Nidoran (male), Nidorino, Gastly, Magmar, Ditto and Kabuto are fake. I'm also kind of worried about Pinsir due to the 'hole' on the top of its head. What do you think? :)

Nidoran male and female and nidorino deffinateley look like fakes to me. Their features and stamps aren't as sharp as mine, and they appear slightly lopsided while mine are perfectly semetrical. My nidoran female is a different version than yours, though. I'm not sure about nidoqueen, the paint is kind of sloppy, but I have had messed up paint on legit Tomys before. The only wired thing is that the very tip of the tail seems to have been broken off, but that could be just damage. I think it's a toss up.

Gastly is hard. It seems to have the clear smoke like it should, and the stamp is in the right place, but, again, the features do not appear as sharp as on mine.

I have a different version of jynx, kabutopse, and pinsir than yours, so I can't really make the best comparisons. The hole in the bottom of jynx is saposed to be there, but the eyes seem off and the stamp is shallow, so it could be a fake. Also, I'm not sure, but I thought that version only came with the Auldey tomy stamp, not the c.g.t.s.j one. Pinsir and kabutopse look fine to me. The pinsir may have been a keychain? I think tomy made keychains very similar to their normal figures with the first gen pokemon.

Magmar's stamp seems a bit bigger, but other then that, he looks exactly like mine, so I think he's fine. I can't find my kabuto for comparison at the moment, but I think yours looks good. It has a fine paint job and a deep stamp.

The hole in the bottom of ditto is strange, but it could simply be damage repaired by a previous owner. The color is also pinker than mine, but I think there was a light pink and dark pink version. Ditto seems to be a toss up to me also.

Hope I got all of them.
